Privacy Policy

IQGuesser is for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the service, email support@iqguesser.com and we will remove the account and data.

· Account details — your email address and username.

· Photos — any selfies or extra angles you upload. These are images of your face and are personal data.

· Test & game data — your answers, your IQ score, the guesses you make about others, and the guesses others make about you.

· Optional profile info — interests or details you add yourself.

· Technical data — a device identifier (for guest play and rate limiting), and basic logs needed to run and secure the service.

· Payment data — if you buy Pro or a breakdown, payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

· To run the game — score your test, show your photo to other players to guess, and build leaderboards.

· To moderate uploads so the pool stays safe and is really you.

· To process payments and manage subscriptions.

· To secure the service, prevent abuse, and respond to you.

This is the important part. If you add a photo to the pool, other users will see that photo and your username and guess your IQ. Your real score may be revealed to them as part of the game. Your public profile (and a share image generated from it) can be viewed by anyone with the link. You can remove your photo from the pool at any time, which stops it being shown to new players.

· Consent — for uploading and publicly displaying your photo. You give this with the checkboxes at upload, and can withdraw it by deleting your photo.

· Contract — to provide your account and any paid features.

· Legitimate interests — to keep the service secure and moderated.

We don’t sell your data. We use a small number of processors to run the service:

· Supabase — database and photo storage.

· Vercel — application hosting.

· Stripe — payment processing.

We may also disclose data if required by law. Some of these providers may process data outside your country, under appropriate safeguards.

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete a photo, it is removed from the pool. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data, except anything we must keep for legal or accounting reasons (for example, payment records).

You can access, correct, or delete your data, withdraw consent, or object to certain processing. You can delete your photo in the app at any time. For anything else — including deleting your account and data — email support@iqguesser.com. EU/UK users also have the right to complain to their data protection authority.

We use reputable providers and reasonable measures to protect your data, but no online service can be perfectly secure. Please use a strong, unique password.

We may update this policy. If we make material changes we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
